Central Africa Republic & Democratic Republic of Congo:
Both the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic a complicated future but isn’t hopeless. Development and stability in both countries are disrupted by conflicts that last, institutions which are weak, and the terror raised by armed groups. The DRC still struggles with insecurity in the east such as in regions like North and South Kivu, at the same point the CAR depends on external assistance and support to keep diverse areas controlled. Even though their situation and fragility are notable, glimmer of hope exist: developing international involvement, Strong regions gathers their force to establish a stable peace, as well as increasing national efforts to reinstate authority. Both countries benefit of remarkable natural resources, motivated young populations as well as an agricultural capacity. If security and governance improve, these assets could be the base of a developing economy, recovery and allow the region move toward lasting peace and prosperity.
In my view, the future of the DRC and the CAR relies on education and the implication of the government in it, so the investment into education, same as the social and civilian lives which is also essential for a good global future. The both government will need to promote reconciliation and civilian protection for the country to feel secure and maintain a constant and long lasting peace. In my perspective DRC and CAR shouldn’t neglect the importance of the fight against corruption which highly slows down the recovery and development of the country. National institutions which are the base of a good economic reconstruction should be strengthened to ensure a better government and increase the fairness of resources management. International support will also greatly help both nations to recover and fetch for a long-lasting peace but the most important factor that should be considered is the future populations and young people. These last ones should be confronted to the situation and explained while raising awareness among them, this will allow those young populations to understand and learn in the vision of preventing that those horrible events occur once again.
